Jubilation in My Soul: A Song Gallery of Dynamic Black Lives is an original choral composition by Kent Stevenson, except for the melody of “‘Fantastique’ Josephine!” originally “J’ai Deux Amours,” Josephine Baker’s theme song, with melody by Vincent Scotto, arranged by Kent Stevenson. The lyrics for “We” are derived from a poem by Professor Mona Lisa Saloy.
